8-3
Game recap: Team Law came in to last night’s PCL finals on an amazing hot streak. The team had to win a couple of tie-breaker games and then survive a quarter final game against Team Miki, then steal away the semi from Team Peachey.
Well last night there was only one thing standing between Team Law and the PCL title…….Team Geall…….
The game got off to a good start for team Geall as they stole a point in the first end when substitute skip Tyler Klitch was heavy on a draw, then in the second end Team Geall turned up the heat on the young ladies and forced a raise against three that did not curl enough….4-0 Geall.
After a steal of two more in the third end, Team Law started to claw back in to the match with a deuce in 4th end, a steal of one in the fifth got them to within striking distance and team Geall was leaking oil…..in the sixth end Geall barely got a point to take a four point lead, then in seven Geall turned on the peeling jets and put an end to the PCL season for 2009/10.
Congrats to Teams Law and Geall for a great finish to the season.
I would like to thank Bryan for all his hard work with setting up the schedule and communicating with all the teams before the season starts and working with the club etc…..Also, I would like to thank John Shwaluk for all his efforts on the web site and keeping it up to date all the time!!
If anyone has any suggestions for the league for next season please contact Bryan or myself anytime. I would to thank all the teams that entered and competed in the league this season and wish you all the best in the off-season, hope to see you all back in the fall!!
One last thing, I would like the welcome to the board John Cullen, he has jumped in with both feet to help out….careful what you wish for John…lol… If anyone else is willing to join us on the board please let us know as we could use 1 or 2 more people for various tasks.

5-4
Game recap: In a really tight match that went down to last shot in the last end, the score was tied and Peachey had the hammer. Jay had to make a nose hit to book his spot in the PCL finals, the rock over curled jammed on the second shot that belonged to the Law team and stayed so Team Law stole the victory and is moving on to the finals Wednesday, March 3rd! Be there!!!
def
7-5
Game recap: Team Geall, still reeling from the prov finals gathered themselves and went out to face the up and coming Team Cseke in PCL semi-final action. The game was fairly sloppy the whole way and the Geall rink was down most of the way until team Cseke missed there last shot in the seventh to give up a steal of two and that gave Geall a two point lead coming home that they were able to milk home to book a spot in next weeks PCL finals. So Team Geall will be back to defend there title from last season against Team Law. Don’t miss the action Wednesday, March 3rd!!
